Monika Brzostek
Founder of Norskling · Experienced Norwegian teacher
Monika has spent many years helping Polish-speaking immigrants in Norway learn Norwegian and pass the Norskprøven. She combines solid professional knowledge with a deep understanding of the challenges of learning a new language in a new country – because she has been in the same situation herself.
Her teaching is structured, personal and tailored to each student's goal, whether it's level A2, B1 or B2. All course materials are developed by her and are based on real exam tasks, practical experience, and many years of work in Norwegian language education.
Monika's goal is to make Norwegian learning effective, motivating and relevant for everyday life. She places great emphasis on creating a safe learning environment where students feel seen, understood and supported throughout the entire learning process.

What do the lessons look like?

Norskprøven has four parts — and we dedicate a separate block of lessons to each one. You can't guess what will come up on the exam. We know. We'll practise exactly the task types you'll meet — so you walk into the exam room with no surprises.
Lesing — reading
We practise understanding short everyday texts: ads, text messages, simple instructions. Your teacher shows you how to find the answer quickly without reading everything word for word.
Lytting — listening
Recordings from everyday situations — conversations, announcements, dialogues. We practise focusing on key words and taking notes while listening.
Skriving — writing
Simple texts: a message to a neighbour, a reply to an ad. Your teacher checks every written piece and explains the mistakes — even outside lesson hours.
Muntlig — speaking
A conversation with your teacher on typical exam topics. We practise how to start, how not to go silent, and how to react when you don't understand a question.
Between lessons — homework with NorskAI
